Some years ago I painted four profane ex-votos, basicaly people congratulating themselves or thanking earthly powers for well suceded thefts and swindles.
This one is painted in the style of ex-votos, but it has a religious twist. The man says: "He gave his life so that you can live". The text says: "Said Mr. Crayencourt to the factory workers who were looking at the corpse of the young heroin adict. The factory that employed them was used to laundry money from the drug trafic."
